Microsoft is officially shutting down Skype from May 5, 2025. This shutdown is finally intended to focus on Microsoft Teams to carry users to Microsoft Teams. Earlier, on May 10, 2011, Microsoft acquired Skype for 8.5 billion US dollars. Although Microsoft was initially optimistic about Skype, after the launch of Microsoft Teams, it was tough for Microsoft to maintain two similar systems in parallel. And finally, Skype was announced to be closed.Existing users will be able to take a backup of their data before May. And all Skype users will be able to use Microsoft Teams with the same user ID.

Due to an increase in the cost set by Verisign, there will be an upcoming domain price increase for .COM domains. Domain Name Registries, such as Verisign, reserve the right to modify, change, or discontinue any aspect of their services, including prices. The price revision is due to an increase in the cost of the domain from the applicable registry and is scheduled for September 1, 2024. The new price is likely to increase by 7% to 18% from the current price. We advise you to renew your domain before September to avoid this increased price. So all the domains that are ready to renew until December this year were ordered to renew by 31 August 2024.
